ISRO to launch PSLV C-20 from Sriharikota today

Last minute details are being checked out for the launch of ISRO's PSLV C20 from the Sathish Dhawan Space Centre,Sriharikota which is to lift off at exactly 5.56 this evening. President Pranab Mukherjee, Andhra Pradesh Governor E.S.L.Narasimhan and Andhra Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy will also be witnessing the launch of the satellite from Sriharikota.

Quoting ISRO officials, AIR correspondent reports that all propelling filling operations and the mobile service tower withdrawal to parking end has been completed and the mission is set to take off in a few hours from now.
As the 59 hours count down is set to end at 5.56 this evening, the mood at Sriharikota is pensive as scientists at the Sathish Dhawan Space Centre were seen briefing President Pranab Mukherjee and the other dignitaries on the launch mission. The twenty third flight of PSLV will inject SARAL and six other satellites into the space minutes after it takes off. A joint venture of India and France, SARAL is the first mission under the Indian Mini Satellite Bus series .It weighs 409 kg and will be launching two mini satellites from Canada and Austria and one from Denmark and United Kingdom.
