Over 100 crore rupees have been earned by ISRO over last three years by launching satellites. In a written reply to the Lok Sabha, Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office Mr. Prithviraj Chavan said that the agency has launched 12 foreign satellites including 6 nano satellites during last three years. In reply to a separate question, Mr. Chavan said ISRO plans to send human beings in space and undertake planetary exploration within the next decade.
