ISRO has called off the launch of GSLV D5 which was to be launched this evening.The revised date will be announced later
The Chairman of ISRO Mr.Radhakrishnan said that launch was called off as leakages were noticed during the process of the second propellant stage.
Speaking to newsmen at Sriharikota, he said that leakage was noticed in the fuel system of the vehicle. Mr.Radhakrishnan told that immediate action will be taken to drain out the liquid fuels inside the vehicle. Mr.Radhakrishnan said that the vehicle would be moved from the second launch pad to the assembling area to assess the cause of the leak.
The Chairman told that a team will decide fresh dates during the reassessment.
