The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is all set to send Chandrayan-II in collaboration with Russia to the Moon in 2012-13. This was stated by the Principal Scientist of Chandrayan-1, Dr. Jitendranath Goswami, at the ‘Guest of the Month’ programme organized at the Jorhat Press Club in Assam . He said, the Central Government has already approved the proposal of ISRO. Dr. Goswami, born in Jorhat, is the only member of India in the NASA space centre.
