Israeli warplanes destroyed a weapons factory and a smuggling tunnel in the southern section of Gaza this morning. There is no report of any casualty. According to the Israeli Defence Forces spokesperson, the strikes were carried out in retaliation of the rocket fire from Gaza aimed at western Negev communities over the past two days. Three short-range rockets were fired from Gaza at southern Israeli towns, although there were no reports of casualties or damage in any of the attacks.
