Israeli war planes launched three air raids in the Gaza Strip Thursday morning and struck training facilities of the Hamas movement's armed wing. Witnesses said the F16 war jets flew over the Hamas-ruled coastal enclave and explosions were heard in the eastern and western Gaza City. Later, the warplanes struck two smuggling tunnels underneath the borderline area between southern Gaza Strip and Egypt. The tunnels were destroyed with no casualties reported. According to sources, the air raids were an immediate response to earlier rocket attacks carried out on the southern and central Israel, where five Israelis were lightly wounded.
