Israeli troops today killed two Palestinians trying to infiltrate into Israel through the Gaza Strip border. According to Israeli media, Haaretz, troops opened fire on the two suspected militants as they were in the midst of laying explosives at the fence near Kibbutz Kfar Aza. None of the soldiers was wounded. Last month, the Israel Air Force carried out a number of strikes on the Gaza Strip after a barrage of mortar shells, a Grad rocket and a phosphorous bomb were fired at the western Negev.
