Israeli war jets and tanks struck several targets in the Gaza Strip early morning today, wounding at least four people. According to Israeli daily Haaretz, Israeli F16 fighters fired two missiles and tanks fired two shells that landed at empty areas east and northeast of Gaza City. Four people were lightly injured. Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes carried out a fifth raid on a post belonging to Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). No injuries were reported. The five successive air and ground strikes came a day after two missiles were fired from Gaza at southern Israel without any injury. The Popular Resistance Committees (PRC) claimed responsibility for this. No injuries or damages were reported. Earlier Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu threatened that the Israeli army would respond to every single rocket from Gaza fired at Israel.
