In Gaza, two Palestinians were killed by Israeli tank shells east of the Jabaliya refugee camp last evening. Palestinian groups claimed the dead were members of different factions. According to medical sources, the deceased were taken to The Kamal Adwan Hospital, where they were pronounced dead. The Israeli military claimed the shelling was in retaliation for the two homemade shells fired from northeastern Gaza across the border into Israel. The shells had landed in an uninhabited area in the Negev desert but caused no injuries or damage.<br/>
