Israel's move to ease its blockade of the Gaza Strip has been widely welcomed by the European governments and in Washington, as the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet President Obama today. A White House spokesman said Mr. Obama is looking forward to the next step to the Middle East Peace process. Hamas Administration, which controls Gaza, dismissed the concessions as worthless and said the blockade should be fully lifted.
