Israel today said, its forces intercepted rockets fired from the Gaza Strip. <br/><br/>The Israeli military said on Twitter that the Israeli Air Force (IAF) successfully intercepted two rockets launched from the Gaza Strip towards Israel. <br/><br/>It also said another rocket launched from the Gaza Strip fell in an open area in the Eshkol Regional Council, southern Israel. <br/><br/>Israeli public radio reported that the rocket exploded in a field and that there were no casualties. Clashes continued between Israeli forces and Palestinians who were protesting US President Donald Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital. <br/><br/>In Nablus and Hebron in the West Bank, protesters set fire to tires and threw stones at Israeli forces yesterday. <br/><br/>In Gaza, Israeli forces fired live bullets in a confrontation with stone-hurling protesters. The Palestinian Red Crescent says 132 people were wounded in yesterday's clashes.
