Israeli war planes bombed two Islamic Jihad training camps in the Gaza Strip early today. According to Palestinian security sources, the jets hit one site in the southern town of Khan Yunis and another near Nusseirat in the centre of the Hamas-ruled strip. Officials said no casualties have been reported so far. The Israeli military have not commented immediately on the bombing. The air raids took place after tensions rose along the Gaza border this week following clashes and a rocket attack on the Israeli city of Beersheva that hit a house, but caused no casualties.
