Israeli Forces kill Four Palestinians

Four Palestinians were reportedly shot dead by Israel Defence Forces today as they opened fire on large numbers Palestinian refugees who were trying to cross Syria's southern border with Israel. Dozen others have been wounded.According to Israeli media Haaretz, another four people were killed on the Lebanese side of its shared frontier with Israel, as Palestinian protests for the annual Nakba Day, which is observed to remember the events when hundreds of thousands of Palestinians fled from Palestinian land after the creation of Israel in 1948.Widespread protests erupted throughout the Palestinian territories today on the annual Nakba Day commemorations.Repeated clashes and arrests took place in various Palestinian areas. According to Maan news agency, demonstrators gathered at the northern entrance to Birzeit University north of Ramallah in the West Bank, setting fire and throwing stones at Israeli troops stationed at Atara checkpoint. Israeli forces fired rubber-coated bullets, tear-gas canisters and stun grenades at protesters. Police said clashes were also reported in the East Jerusalem district of Issawiya, with youths throwing stones and hurling Molotov cocktails.
