A Palestinian was killed and four others were wounded in an Israeli air strike on in the central Gaza strip on Tuesday night.According to Israel’s media Haaretz, the Israeli Forces confirmed that it carried out the air strike at the gunmen in the town of Khan Younis in Gaza and that one militant had died of his injuries. The spokesman for the Popular Resistance Committees, Abu Mujahed said they opened fire on Israeli forces on the Israeli side of the Gaza border. Israel has pledged to retaliate against any attacks from Gaza. Recently several mortars were fired at Israel from Gaza, which caused no casualties or damage. Israeli aircrafts then fired missiles at the gunmen in retaliation wounding six people.
