Israel and US have signed a 3 billion dollar deal under which Israel will purchase F-35 stealth fighters. According to Israeli media Hareetz, under the contract signed in New York yesterday by director general of the Israeli Ministry of Defense Ehud Shani, Israel will get 20 of the warplanes in 2016. According to Israeli security experts, the purchase of F-35 stealth fighters will enhance Israel's ability to face security challenges, as warplanes would be capable of reaching Iran undetected by radar.
