Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that Israel would be prepared to compromise and cede part of its land for true peace with the Palestinians but he believes that they are not ready to be a true partner for peace. Addressing the Israeli parliament, Knesset, Netanyahu reiterated that a Palestinian unity government that includes Hamas could not be Israel's peace partner.According to Israeli media Haaretz, Israeli Prime minister said that a Palestinian state should be created only through a peace agreement. He added that root of conflict is not the absence of a Palestinian state but Palestinian opposition to the creation of the State of Israel.
