Israeli airplanes launched a series of airstrikes in the Gaza Strip early Friday killing a child and wounding others. The attacks followed an earlier Israeli airstrike that killed six Palestinians in the southern city of Rafah, including senior commanders and militants from the Popular Resistance Committees. Also after midnight, the Israeli aircrafts launched two attacks in Gaza City and in Khan Younis, hitting a security complex run by the Hamas-led government. Yesterday, Palestinian militants killed seven people in southern Israel, prompting Israeli retaliatory attacks on Palestinian militants.
