<h3>The Israeli army today said it has carried out further air raids against Hamas positions in the Gaza Strip in response to a rocket being fired over its border. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said their air defence system intercepted the rocket which was fired overnight from the Hamas-ruled coastal enclave. In a tweet, it said it holds the Hamas terror organization accountable for all acts of terror emanating from the Gaza Strip. The latest raids follow strikes by the IDF on two Hamas posts yesterday after balloons carrying an explosive device were launched from the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory. </h3>
