The Israeli Defence Forces have launched air strikes on the Gaza Strip early this morning, after a mortar shell fired from Gaza wounded a man at an agricultural community close to the border. According to a statement of Israeli defence ministry, its Air force struck a weapon manufacturing and storage unit in the central Gaza Strip and two terror hubs in the northern Gaza Strip in response to rocket fire over the past few days. No casualties were reported in strikes.Media reports say that the head of security in one of the kibbutzim in the Eshkol region, which borders the Gaza Strip, was reportedly hit in the neck by a piece of shrapnel outside his home.
