Israel launches air strike in Gaza

The Israeli Air Force launched air strikes in the Gaza Strip overnight targeting tunnel and alleged weapons manufacturing site. <br/>An Israeli military spokesman said the air strikes targeted a tunnel in southern Gaza and a weapons manufacturing site in northern Gaza. Palestinian Authority sources said that 22 Gazans were wounded in the attack.<br/>Israel says its air force launched air strike after rocket and mortars were fired from Gaza in to Israel. No Israelis were injured. A Palestinian militant group that identifies with al-Qaida claimed responsibility for firing the rocket and mortar shells at Israel from Gaza. <br/>
