Israel complains UN over rocket attack from Gaza

Israel has filed a complaint to UN over rocket attacks from Gaza. According to Israeli foreign ministry, country’s ambassador to the UN, Meron Reuben has submitted a complaint to United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon and the UN Security Council over rocket attacks and called on international community to send a clear and resolute message that rocket attacks are unacceptable. Israeli media says some 13 rockets fired from Gaza have struck Israel over the last several days and Israel retaliated with air strikes on Gaza. Meanwhile Chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat has said that a Palestinian draft resolution condemning Israel's West Bank settlement activity is ready to be presented to the United Nations Security Council.
