Israel has carried out a series of air attacks on the Gaza Strip, hitting an area near Hanoon in the North and a disused airport in the South. Raids also targeted a tunnel used by Palestinians. A number of people are reported to have been wounded. An Israeli spokesman said, the raids were in response to rockets fired into Israel from Gaza yesterday.
