Israel has said that it is not obligated by the resolution adopted by the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty review conference that singled out Israel on the issue of non-proliferation. In a statement, the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office called the resolution "deeply flawed and hypocritical" for focusing on Israel, while ignoring the Iranian nuclear program. It added that as a non-signatory state of the NPT, Israel is not obligated by the decisions of this Conference. <br/>
