In Andaman and Nicobar islands, a mega event, the Islands Tourism Festival begins on Wednesday. The Islands Lt Governor, Lt Gen Bhopindher Singh will inaugurate this festival at Port Blair Wednesday evening. The festival will show case the developmental activities in different islands, besides the upcoming projects for the tourism development in the islands. As part of the festival, cultural programmes, musical concerts and Kavi Sammelans will be held to entertain the visitors. For the first time, the internationally acclaimed all girl band from Shillong “AFFLATUS' will perform in the festival.
