Islamic State claims responsibility for Kabul wedding suicide blast

<span style="color: #222222;">The Islamic State (IS) group has claimed responsibility for a suicide attack on a wedding in Kabul in which at least 63 people were killed and over 180 injured.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' In a statement posted on the Telegram messaging app, the terror group said, one of its fighters blew himself up at a large gathering while others detonated a parked explosives-laden vehicle when security forces arrived.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' Authorities said, the blast, which took place in the city's west, came as Washington and the Taliban are in the final stages of a deal to reduce the US military presence in Afghanistan.<br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The wedding was believed to be a Shia gathering. Shia Muslims are frequently targeted in Sunni-majority Afghanistan, particularly by the Islamic State terrorist group. </span>
