Blaming Pakistan for having uneasy relationship with India, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today said it is for Islamabad to introspect as to why there are tensions between the two neighbours. <br/><br/>Addressing the HT Leadership Summit in New Delhi the minister said it is a serious situation. He said right from the day this government had been formed and even prior to that, India has taken one step after another honestly trying to improve relations with Pakistan. <br/><br/>He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a lot of initiatives including unconventional ones but then the response was Pathankot or Uri attack, prompted by Pakistan. <br/> <br/>Asked about impact of change in regime in the US, Mr. Jaitley said the relationship between the two countries is expected to strengthen further.He further said India's relations with the United States would continue to be on the same plank as it was.
