In Uttar Pradesh, the arrested ISI trained agent Faizal Rahman was on Monday sent to jail for 14 days under judicial custody. He was arrested by Anti Terrorist Squad, ATS, of state police from Rail Bazar locality in Kanpur on Sunday. Police on Monday produced him before a local court. The court has fixed October 3 as next date of hearing on the case.AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that the ATS was collecting information about other Indian youths Faizal Rahman had sent to Pakistan to get training from ISI. He has told his interrogators that he had also visited Russia for pursuing an engineering course with the help of an agent.Police has claimed that he has also informed that he has provided information of various army establishments located at Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh to ISI bosses in Pakistan. He stayed in Russia for three years from 1993 to 1996 and learned Russian language. ATS has seized phone numbers and email ids of ISI officials and sensitive documents related to Indian Army from him.
