CBI today questioned Gujarat Law Minister Pradeep Sinh Jadeja in connection with Ishrat Jahan fake encounter case. CBI has also issued summons to another Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, former minister of state for Home Praful Patel and State Advocate General Kamal Trivedi for questioning. They have been summoned in connection with Ishrat Jahan fake encounter case. Our Ahmedabad correspondent reports that State Law Minister Prdip Sinh Jadeja was questioned by CBI today. Official sources, questioning was in connection with the accusations that the investigation was derailed by the Government. Earlier, CBI had summoned two senior IAS officers of Gujarat G.C.Murmu and A.K.Sharma in connection with Ishrat Jhan fake encounter case, yesterday. It is said that both the officers were present at a meeting called by State Advocate General’s office allegedly to derail investigations in to Ishrat Jahan fake encounter. Suspended IPS officer GL Singhal had handed over an audio recording of a sting operation of secret meeting allegedly held to derail the probe in Ishrat Jahan fake encounter case.
