Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief South Western Air Command, Air Marshal R.K. Dhir said the Iron Fist 2016 will demonstrate nearly 180 aircraft including fighter jets, transport aircraft and helicopters. <br/><br/>Speaking to AIR, Air Marshal Dhir gave this information today in a curtain raiser of IRON FIST 2016, a Fire Power Demonstration by the Indian Air Force.<br/> <br/>Earlier addressing the press conference, Air Marshal B S Dhanoa, Vice-Chief of the IAF said India's indigenous Light Combat Aircraft Tejas, will demonstrate its fire power during the upcoming exercise.<br/> <br/>Iron Fist is the biggest fire power exercise of the Indian Air Force (IAF) scheduled on March 18 at Pokhran in Rajasthan. The main objective of the grand event is to display network-centric operations capabilities of the Indian Air Force. Last time, Iron Fist was conducted in 2013 at the Pokhran firing range . <br/> <br/>Reacting to a question regarding intelligence inputs about entry of 8-10 terrorists into India, IAF Vice-Chief assured that the Iron Fist venue is fully sanitised and secure.
