IRCTC hotels scam: CBI issues summons to Lalu Yadav, son Tejashwi

Central Bureau of Investigation today issued fresh summons to RJD Chief Lalu Prasad and his son Tejashwi Yadav in the alleged IRCTC hotels scam case. <br/><br/>Lalu Prasad has been asked to appear on Monday and his son the next day for questioning in alleged corruption case.<br/><br/>In July this year, the CBI had registered a case in connection with irregularities in awarding the tender for maintenance of IRCTC hotels in Ranchi and Puri against the RJD Chief, his family members and others. <br/><br/>The tender was given when Lalu Prasad was Railways Minister during UPA rule. The agency had also raided 12 locations related to Lalu and his family members including in Patna, New Delhi, Ranchi and Gurgaon.<br/><br/>Earlier, the father and son duo were asked to appear before the CBI on 11th and 12th of this month but they had not come for questioning.
