IRCTC hotels scam: CBI issues fresh summons to Lalu, son Tejashwi

CBI today issued fresh summons to RJD Chief Lalu Prasad and his son Tejashwi Yadav in the alleged IRCTC hotels scam case. <br/><br/>Lalu has been asked to appear on 3rd of next month while Tejashwi the next day. <br/><br/>This is the third summon issued by the the agency to the father and son duo in the case. Earlier, citing different reasons they did not appear for questioning. <br/> <br/>Meanwhile, Tejashwi Yadav has sought 15 days time from the CBI to appear for questioning. <br/><br/>Tejashwi, who was summoned to appear today, sent his counsel who submitted the request. Yesterday, the RJD chief had also sought two weeks. <br/><br/>In July this year, the CBI had registered a case in connection with irregularities in awarding the tender for maintenance of IRCTC hotels in Ranchi and Puri against the RJD Chief, his family members and others. The tender was given when Lalu Prasad was Railways Minister during UPA rule.
