Iraq’s President Jalal Talabani has officially assigned Nouri al-Maliki, to form the new Iraqi government within thirty days from Thursday. According to Voice of Iraq news agency, Nourie al Maliki called upon Iraqi people of all sects, religions and ethnicities and the politicians to work unitedly to overcome all differences.After 8 months of argument and discussions following 7th March nationwide parliamentary elections, the Iraqi Parliament elected Usama al-Nujeifi. The Parliament also elected President Talabani for a second presidential term, and Talabani on his part had assigned Nouri al-Maliki to form the new government. It became possible after all major political parties reached a consensus on the issue.
