The Iraqi Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi has called for an urgent meeting of the Presidential Board to take all necessary measures to stop what he called the political deterioration in the country. Earlier, the opposition leader Iyad Allawi called the Arab League to intervene with the United Nations to end his country's political stalemate while the United States has also urged Iraqi leaders to form a new government at the earliest. <br/>The opposition Iraqia coalition which won 91 seats in 325-member parliament compared to 89 seats of incumbent Prime Minister Noorie Al Maliki’s State of Law Coalition, blames that systematic efforts are being done to reverse their two seat edge. <br/>
