Iraq vote results on March 26: IHEC

<br/>Iraq’s Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) has said that the final results of Iraq’s legislative elections will be announced on 26th of this month.<br/><br/>This was announced by the chief of IHEC, Faraj al-Haydari in a press conference in Baghdad last evening. <br/><br/>According to Voice of Iraq news agency, IHEC chief appealed all political parties to observe patience and clarified that any party or bloc has the right to contest the results in three days since their announcement.<br/><br/>On demands of Iraqi president and prime minister for manual recounting of votes IHEC chief said that it is very difficult because this should take 3 lakh employees to be brought back to election stations.<br/>Legislative elections took place in the country on 7th March to elect 325 members of parliament but final results are still awaited.
