Iraq and Turkey have decided to sign protocols on the issues ranging from free trade zones to establishing joint investment council, and oil to natural gas. This was announced by Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu after a two-day meeting of senior ministers of Turkey and Iraq in Istanbul on Friday. Talking to reporters Turkish Foreign Minister said that both countries have launched a new term with a new partnership model in the region, behaving as one state. Turkey and Iraq have decided to sign more than 40 agreements, memorandums of understanding and protocols, which also include Water, environment, health, agriculture and livestock production.<br/><br/>Our west Asia correspondent reports, Turkey remains deeply concerned about the presence of Kurdish militants along the border in Northern Iraq. A second meeting between ministers of the two countries is scheduled to be held in Baghdad later this year.
