In Iraq, a suicide bomber blew himself up close to a passing army patrol in northern region today evening, killing seven people, including four soldiers. Security and medical officials said in the Northern city of Mosul that another 15 people were wounded, two of them soldiers, in the attack which took place at the entrance to a popular market in Mosul. The death brought to 12 the total number of people killed in Iraq today. Five people, including a judge and an industry ministry official, died in separate attacks in a town on Baghdad's outskirts.
