Iraq's Independent High Electoral Commission has said that it has found no evidence of fraud after manually recounting the votes cast at Baghdad's polling stations.<br/><br/>According to media reports, commission's spokesman Qassim al-Abboudi told that commission finished the recount of 11 thousand 298 ballot boxes and the results would be released on Monday.<br/><br/>The recount in Baghdad was ordered following Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki’s demand for a vote recount of 7th March parliamentary elections. Al-Iraqiya Alliance, headed by Iyad Allawi, won 91 seats while Prime Minister Maliki’s alliance bagged 89 seats in the poll results.
