Iraq and Kuwait have agreed to step up efforts to resolve issues dating from Iraq’s 1990 invasion of Kuwait. It was emerged during the visit of Kuwait’s prime Minister to Iraq for the first time after Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait in 1990. The advisor of the Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Moussaw told that two sides agreed to form a committee to address outstanding issues, which will be jointly headed by the countries’ foreign ministers. They also showed their insistence on developing relations, and getting over problems of borders and economic and security files, he added.
