In Iraq, at least 17 people were killed and sixty injured in a suicide truck bomb blast last night in south of Baghdad. <br/><br/>Police said, the bomber detonated his explosive laden truck at a check-point where a number of vehicles were waiting for checking purpose. Officials said, 3 policemen were among the dead while the rest were civilians and a number of policemen were also injured. <br/><br/>No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, but IS group has carried out similar attacks in the past.
