In Iraq, at least 11 people, including four police officers were killed and 20 others injured in twin car bomb blasts in southwestern Baghdad yesterday. Police said, the first attack targeted a police checkpoint in the neighbourhood and moments later, the second blast hit a nearby street crowded with civilians.<br/><br/>The attack comes as Iraqi forces, backed by the US-led coalition, are slowly moving in on the last neighbourhoods held by the Islamic State terrorist group in Mosul, Iraq's second- largest city. Iraqi commanders said, they hope to fully liberate the city before the holy month of Ramadan, which is to begin at the end of next week.<br/>
