Iran's navy has started eight day long war game in the strait of Hormuz and the Sea of Oman today. The five-stage war games dubbed ‘Velayat 89’ is currently conducted between the Hormuz Strait and the northern part of the Indian ocean. <br/>The commander of the navy, Habibollah Sayari said that the exercises is being undertaken from eastern part of Strait of Hormuz and it will continue in free waters of India and Pakistan. According Iranian news agency IRNA, the 8 day- long war game includes 6 stages including testing of missiles and defence system and other war weapons. The combat, support, logistic, radar and electronic units as well as surface-to-surface, under water and air missiles will be used in the war games with the support of Air Force fighter planes.<br/>
