Iran's army commander Major General Ataollah Salehi today said a submarine will be launched by the Iranian navy in the next ten days. He said this domestic submarine will be used in far-off waters or anywhere the Iranian ships are threatened.The military chief said the navy's continued missions in the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean call for high potency of Iran's navy.In July, Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi said that the country plans to launch a hi-tech submarine equipped with advanced weapons in the near future.
