Trailing by 405 runs in the first innings, Rest of India were 114 for 3 in their second innings when stumps were drawn on the third day today. For Rest of India, Gautam Gambhir again fell cheaply contributing just nine runs while K.M. Jadhav scored 44. Aparajith 42 and Dinesh 9 were at the crease. Karnataka pacer Vinay Kumar, the main wrecker in the first innings with six wickets again captured two wickets in his 7 overs.
