Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Tuesday inaugurated three major defence projects in the fields of cruise missiles production and naval equipment manufacturing. According to Iranian channel PressTV, these projects are Qader missile, Bonyan 1 marine engine and the Valfajr domestically-built torpedo system. The Qader missile has a range of 200 kilometers while Valfajr torpedo system has a 220-kilogram warhead and Bonyan 1 marine engine can provide the country's naval forces with the strategic product. Valfajr is launched from submarine vessels and is equipped with advanced security systems.
