Iran says it will launch two telecommunication satellites this year. <br/><br/>A senior official of Telecommunications Ministry, Mr. Mohammad Hosseinpour today said the new satellites, which are designed and produced to decrease telecom traffic between Russia and Europe, will be equipped with filming applications and data-image transmission sensors. <br/><br/>In February, Iran successfully test-fired a satellite rocket and unveiled three new satellites and a satellite carrier.<br/>
