Iran will deliver its response to the International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) questions on nuclear fuel swap on Monday. This was announced by Iranian foreign minister in Istanbul on Sunday after a meeting with the foreign ministers of Turkey and Brazil. Manouchehr Mottaki told reporters that letter will be conveyed to the IAEA in Vienna and then Iran can immediately start negotiations for the details of exchanging of the fuel. It was the first meeting of leaders of three countries since the UN Security Council imposed a fourth round of sanctions against Iran on June 9 over its nuclear program. Earlier to the sanction, Iran, Brazil and Turkey issued a joint nuclear fuel swap declaration under which, Tehran agreed to exchange 1,200 kilograms of its low-enriched uranium on Turkish soil with fuel for its Tehran reactor.
