Iran has rejected the reports that Tehran is planning to purchase uranium ore from Kazakhstan in secret. The Iranian clarification has come following a report of AP news agency which had claimed that Iran was on the verge of signing contracts with Kazakhstan to secretly import 1,350 tons of refined uranium ore.According to Iranian news agency IRNA, Iran’s representative office in New York in a statement has rejected the report as totally baseless and described it as fake. The statement added that such attempts could never persuade a nation which enjoys full rights to peaceful nuclear technology under the International Atomic Energy Agency's regulations to halt its programs towards progress and development.
