Iran has announced the plan to build two more enrichment facilities in the country. This was announced by the head of the Atomic Energy Organization (AEOI) of Iran. According to Iranian channel PressTV, AEOI chief Ali Akbar Salehi said that construction of these two new enrichment sites may begin in the new Iranian year which starts on 21 March. He added that Iran intends to use new generation centrifuges in these two facilities which will be similar to the Natanz enrichment plant in terms of production.
