Iran’s Road and Transportation Minister Hamid Behbahani has said that Iran may retaliate against certain countries that deny fuel to Iranian aircrafts. Iranian news agency, ILNA quoted the minister as saying, such an act is an illegal practice, adding that Iran will follow up the case through legal channels. His comments have come after the reports that some international energy companies are refusing to refuel Iranian airliners at some European airports. Sporadic reports of refueling problems first surfaced in June, soon after the U.N, the US and EU approved new economic sanctions against Iran.
