Iran hanged seven drug traffickers on Wednesday. According to official IRNA news agency, the convicted men were hanged in Tehran for keeping and distributing heroin, Hashish and opium. Drug trafficking is among some other crimes, including murder, adultery, rape and armed robbery, which could be sentenced to death in Iran.
